I am a medical librarian working in Australia. I noticed there were many sources of information for health awareness days/weeks/months, but none were comprehensive to the extent that I was looking for. This site is my own and not affiliated with my job.

This is an Australian initiative with a global focus. I have put together a comprehensive list of links to health awareness events that I hope will be useful to the general public, health professionals or for anyone who wants to organise health awareness information/events for their organisation.

Please share this, link to it, use it, and let me know if I have missed anything!

I would like to hear back from you if it has been useful. You can leave a comment on the site or e-mail me at bsheim2@gmail.com

When I’m not working on this project, I am working at my job, or busy as a photographer, traveller, writer, cross-stitcher, quilter or starting some other interesting project!
